I haven't done much work on #6 in a few weeks. Jayne's table has taken my time, but I did spend a
few minutes yesterday cleaning out the inside of the top plate.
The holding jig my
father made many years ago isn't really appropriate for this task. It only supports the work
piece at the perimeter, so there's lots of flex. I'm thinking I should use some modelling clay
to make an exact match support. I have a box of the clay left from a previous project, so I'll
try that approach this coming week.
