Jayne and I moved in September 2011 to Renfrew, her home town. That, to a large extent accounts for the slow progress of violins 7 & 8. In the past year I have completely gutted and renovated our office and work spaces in the basement and built a new workshop. The workshop has a large room for power tools, and a smaller one for a library and hand tools. The smaller room is almost ready for painting. Most of my violin tools are now here, but still packed. The remainder are in Waterloo, but I will bring them here over the next few trips.
I am hoping to resume violin work by Christmas.
